Pajama Cat Sharks
Pajama Cat Sharks is a Juneau, Alaska–based acoustic pop-rock band known for turning familiar songs into fresh, stripped-down arrangements that emphasize rhythm, harmony, and crowd energy. The group is made up of local musicians who bring a collaborative, community-driven spirit to their performances. With a playful name and an energetic approach to acoustic music, Pajama Cat Sharks blends familiar songs with their own creative twist. We are excited to welcome them back to Juneau Gold Rush Days!
STEADY GOING
Steady Going is a Juneau, Alaska–based band rooted in the energy and community spirit of Southeast Alaska’s live music scene. Known for their lively, genre-blending sound, the group draws from folk, bluegrass, and punk-inspired influences—often described as everything from “fastgrass” to “trainhopper folk” and even their own brand of “scummgrass.” Formed by a collective of local musicians, Steady Going has become a regular presence at local events. We are thrilled to have them for the first time at Juneau Gold Rush Days!
Quinton Woolman Morgan
Quinton Woolman Morgan is a Juneau-based singer-songwriter whose music blends folk, indie, and acoustic traditions with a distinctly Southeast Alaska perspective. Originally from Granite Falls, Washington, Morgan moved to Alaska in 2013, where the region’s long winters, rugged landscapes, and close-knit communities helped shape his sound and songwriting voice.
Dude Mtn
Dude Mtn is a high-energy psychedelic rock trio from Ketchikan, Alaska, known for their immersive live shows and free-flowing, genre-bending sound. Blending elements of jam rock, blues, and improvisational psychedelia, the band has become a standout act in Southeast Alaska’s music scene. With a growing presence across Alaska, including festival appearances, touring dates, and recorded releases like their NorthLandia EP, Dude Mtn continues to make waves across the region. Come enjoy our free yard games—perfect for all ages. Test your aim with axe throwing, challenge friends to corn hole, stack it high with giant Jenga, or go head-to-head in a game of Connect 4. Available all weekend in the lawn by the Pioneer Pavilion!
KID’S EXCAVATOR
Do your kiddos love big equipment? Let the little ones get in on the action at Juneau Gold Rush Days with our kid-sized excavator! Hop in the seat and take control of a real mini excavator—kids can scoop, dig, and test their skills in a fun, hands-on experience that brings out their inner operator. It’s a safe, exciting way for young adventurers to play, learn, and maybe discover a love for heavy equipment!
Hosted by the Pioneers of Alaska - the Kid’s Excavator will be open from 10 AM - 4PM.
BOUNCY HOUSE
Bring the bounce to Juneau Gold Rush Days! Kids can jump, laugh, and burn off some energy in our free bouncy house, hosted by the Southeast Alaska Food Bank. While it’s free to enjoy, we welcome donations of cash or canned food to help support our local community. Come play, give back if you can, and be part of the fun!
Hosted by the Southeast Alaska Food Bank - the Bouncy House will be open from 10 AM - 4PM (weather permitting).
KID’s CARNIVAL
Step right up to the Kid’s Carnival at Juneau Gold Rush Days! Packed with fun, games, and smiles, the Kid’s Carnival is the perfect stop for little ones. From classic carnival-style games to interactive activities, there’s plenty to keep kids entertained while they test their skills and win small prizes. It’s all about laughter, friendly competition, and making memories—so bring the family and let the kids enjoy their own gold rush of fun!

GOLD PANNING
Try your hand at a true Gold Rush tradition at Juneau Gold Rush Days! Join AJ Mine & Mill Tours for a hands-on gold panning experience, where you can swirl, sift, and search for a bit of golden treasure just like the prospectors of old. It’s a fun and educational activity for all ages—perfect for discovering a little piece of Alaska’s rich mining history. Who knows? You just might strike gold!
