YOU! JGRD is not just a mining and logging competition, we have a little something for everyone! From live music and a beer garden, to local foods and vendors, and games and activities for the kiddos!

JGRD is an action-packed celebration consisting of mining and logging events, local fair foods, booths of arts and crafts, and activities for children. Attendees can learn more about the mining and logging industries by watching or participating in competitions featuring mining-specific events such as jackleg drilling, spike driving, and hand mucking, and logging events, like axe throwing, speed climbing, hand bucking, and log rolling. There are skills competitions for kids, teens, and adults!

The 2024 JGRD will be held June 22nd & 23rd, 2024.

Saturday: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

Sunday: 8:00am to 5:00 pm

JGRD will be held at Savikko Park (Sandy Beach).
